Those who are hoping to make changes in their lifestyle particularly in their eating habits might benefit from healthy diets. Making adjustments in one’s eating habits is not only for the purpose of losing weight but also to revitalize the whole body and making the whole system work well again like a well oiled machine.
One of the healthy diets that many people try is the fruit diet, which is composed mainly of fruits and fruit juices. This type of diet is advised for those who are trying to cleanse their digestive systems and improve metabolism. The fruit is also good for people who are looking to improve their skin color naturally since fruit contains a lot of antioxidants that repair damaged cells and reduces the risk of premature aging in men and women alike.
The only downside of the fruit diet is that it is not designed to be used for an extended period of time. Two weeks is the longest time you can use this diet without any untoward results, beyond that you might start to feel a little weak, light headed, and lethargic because of the lack of real energy source in the body.
When you are on the fruit diet, you are totally not allowed to eat anything except fruits and fruit juices. The best ones you can use are berries because of their high fibre and antioxidant content which is what the body needs to repair damaged cells and to improve nutrient absorption.
